Start off your game by learning the basics of Sally’s Salon – Kiss & Make-Up! Meet the new cast of characters and learn how to play and earn high scores. Keep scrolling for bonus tips and tricks!
Getting Started
Click “Play” after starting up the game to begin. Once you’ve completed the first level, you’ll be taken to the Story Map, or level select screen. Click and hold down, swiping left or right to navigate between levels. You can also click or tap a chapter at the bottom of the screen to quickly navigate to levels of that chapter.

How to Play
Sally’s Salon – Kiss & Make-Up is a time management game. The goal of the game is to apply as many beauty treatments and sell as many products as possible to happy customers before the end of the day. The happier a customer is, the higher your score will be!
Customers will enter your store and wait in the designated waiting area. A bubble will pop up over their head indicating where they’d like to go. Click on the customer, followed by the station of their choosing to assign them to a station. A “…” bubble indicates a customer is still thinking. Give them a little more time!
Customers may ask for a specific product or item. Click on the item the customer wants, then click on the customer to bring it to them. Additionally, customers may also ask for a specific treatment. These order bubbles are filled with a specific color. Complete the treatment before the color drains from the bubble to earn bonus points!

- GREEN bubbles indicate a quick, normal treatment. Clicking on a customer with a green-colored bubble will make Sally or her helper treat them right away. Note you may need to bring along an item the customer asks for first!

- PURPLE bubbles require your personal touch! For example, you may need to tap or click a button multiple times or move a slider with your mouse or finger. This type of treatment will finish once you’ve successfully performed the indicated touch gesture.

- BLUE bubbles mean you’ll need to complete a minigame to perform the requested treatment or service. To view a full list of Sally’s Salon – Kiss and Make-Up minigames and how to play, visit the Minigames section of our guide.
Once a customer has received all the products and treatments they ask for, they’ll go to the checkout counter. Click on the monitor to check them out and earn a score based on your service.
Scoring and Customer Happiness
Each customer entering the salon will have a heart accompanying them. The faster you serve your customer, the more their heart will be filled! Hearts are converted into scores once a customer has checked out.
Hearts can also empty over time if you’re not careful. The emptier a customer’s heart is, the angrier they will become. If you don’t serve them quickly enough, they may even storm out without paying!
The happiest customers have golden hearts. These gold-hearted customers will give you the highest scores and have infinite patience. You’ll have to be quick and offer outstanding service to earn them, though!
Earn bonus points by checking customers out in groups. You can check out a group of up to 5 customers. Note that gold-hearted customers will wait at the checkout counter as long as you need, without losing patience. Any additional customers waiting to check out past a group of 5 will count toward the score chain, so long as they queue up right behind the original group as they leave.
Bonus Scores and Treatment Chains
Earn extra bonus points by assigning and treating customers quickly. If you assign or treat a customer before the color displayed drains from their bubble, you’ll earn a quick bonus. You can also earn quick bonuses for checking out customers within a couple seconds of their arriving at the checkout counter or assigning them to treatment stations quickly. Treating multiple customers back-to-back will give you a treatment chain. Try earning various chains and combos to improve your score!
Stars
At the end of each level you will earn stars depending on your score. You will need to earn at least one star to unlock the next level. You will earn 50 coins for each star you unlock on story levels.
Upgrades
After selecting a level in the level select map, you’ll have the option to purchase upgrades. Earn coins to buy upgrades by completing levels. The higher your score, the more coins you’ll earn! Upgrades can increase patience or speed.
Additionally, you can upgrade your Helper by clicking on the pink arrow in the upper right corner of the level select map. Here you can purchase bonus skills to better your Helper’s performance. Each skill has numerous levels to unlock, each one better than the last.
Additional Tips and Tricks

- The Diamond Standard– Complete level challenges to earn diamonds, which can be used to upgrade the Helper skills. You will earn one diamond for each challenge event completed in the Story levels and up to 3 diamonds for each Challenge level. In addition, as you unlock achievements, you can collect diamonds in the Trophy section, which is accessible from the Trophy icon in the Map.

- Carl the Mouse– Carl the Mouse is hiding in each of the game’s story levels! Listen for a squeak to know when the mouse appears.

- A Customer Here, A Customer There– Swap customers between stations to increase your efficiency!

- A Helping Hand – While in the Upgrade screen prior to playing a level, you can choose a station to assign your Helper to. Try assigning your Helper to different stations to maximize efficiency and earn happier customers. Note: Helpers’ stations can only be changed before Story Levels 1 – 60, not before starting a Challenge level.

- I Feel Golden – Customers with gold hearts have infinite patience and can wait an indefinite amount of time at the checkout counter. This patience extends to customers with gold hearts that are ready to check out but are waiting at a station. While these customers are comfortable with waiting as long as it takes, be careful not to let them block the station from an incoming customer!

- Time Out! – The shift clock and the timers on customers’ bubbles will temporarily pause every time you play a minigame. Don’t forget to be quick, though – minigames have timers, too!

Friendly, spontaneous, and incredibly talkative, Sally is the lead hairstylist and owner of Sally’s Salon. Despite her secret brainy personality, Sally’s impulsive nature can often get her into trouble. When a new opportunity presents itself, Sally is eager to accept without considering the consequences.
Francois
Confident, relaxed, loyal, and somewhat of a troublemaker, Francois is a returning character from the Delicious franchise. He never hesitates to express his opinion, often with comical results.
April
Ambitious, competitive, and arguably unstable, April is a character from Sally’s past. April’s driven nature masks hidden intentions and secret insecurities.
Nathan
A bit of a clueless romantic, Nathan is constantly bouncing from one endeavor to the next. He is constantly on the lookout for “the one”, but often self-sabotages with his fear of commitment.
Britney
Pretty and posh, Britney can be a bit of a gossip. However, beyond the blonde facade is a sweet personality. When stressed, Britney resorts to frantic cleaning and organizing.

Chapter 1 – Bad Hair Day
Level 1 – Follicles of Faith
Here’s where it all started!
Today’s all about getting started and learning the ropes. Treat customers as they enter the shop. The items or treatments a customer requests will be shown in a bubble over their head. Click on the item the customer wants, then click on the customer to bring it to them. Or, click on a customer, followed by the station they request to start their treatment. Earn 50 points to earn your first star and complete today’s challenge.
Tip! If the bubble over a customer’s head shows Sally, click on the customer to have Sally perform the treatment without the need for any additional tools or items.
Level 2 – An Occurrence at Bowl Cut Bridge
Sally’s blood might not be purely caffeine. Drink coffee to keep her from malfunctioning.
Drink coffee 3 times today. At the start of the level, you’ll enter the Shop. Here you can purchase the coffee machine for 50 coins. Once the level starts, click on the coffee machine to prepare the coffee. Successfully prepare and drink coffee 3 times today to complete today’s challenge.
Tip! Click on the coffee machine once the coffee pot is full and Sally will automatically drink a cup of coffee.

Level 3 – Blow Out
Get quick bonuses! Prove you’re the fastest around!
Complete today’s challenge by earning 20 quick bonuses! You can earn a quick bonus by quickly completing any of the following tasks:
- Assign a customer to a station within a few seconds of their arrival.
- Treat a customer before the color drains from their order bubble.
- Bring an item to a customer within a few seconds of them ordering.
- Check out a customer within a few moments of them arriving at the checkout counter.
Tip! Try to earn quick bonuses through service, not checkout. The more customers you check out at once, the higher your checkout bonus will be!
Level 4 – The Full Crown Affair
Francois has been learning to apply mud packs. Clean the floors… And the walls… And the ceiling.
Ugh, this place is a mess! Clean up the 4 water spills marked with “!” bubbles. Once you click on a spill, Sally will begin to mop it up. A meter will appear displaying her progress. Clean up all the leaks before the end of the day to complete today’s bonus goal.

Level 5 – High Lights, Big City
We can’t risk running out of hairspray or hair gel! Keep both fully stocked at all times!
Keep items fully stocked today! Complete today’s level without ever letting item stock drop to 0 on any item. Click on the tray of supplies in the upper right corner to restock items as necessary throughout the day.
Tip! It’s recommended you restock items when there’s only 1 or 2 remaining. If you serve the last item in stock and drop to 0, you will need to restart the level to complete the challenge.
Level 6 – Children of the Cornrows
An extremely wealthy customer has arrived. Time to break out the pinking shears and goji hair gloss!
Attend to the wealthy patron today. She’s wearing red glasses and requires your utmost attention! A meter will be displayed above her displaying her patience. Tend to her by clicking on her before this meter runs out. Repeat this process throughout the day successfully without ever letting the bar empty completely to complete today’s challenge.

Level 7 – Kiss Kiss Bang Bangs
We’re going for the combo! Check out as many customers as you can at once, as many times as you can!
Get a checkout combo with 3 customers today, 3 times! Wait until 3 customers are lined up at the checkout counter, then click on the monitor to check them out. Do this a total of 3 times today to complete today’s goal.
Tip! Once there are 3 customers, check out the group! If you wait any longer, you risk running out of customers you can perform the checkout combos with.
Level 8 – Braiders of the Frost Lock
Remove hairsprays from the tray to test your product removal skills!
Remove 6 bottles of hairspray from your tray. Click on a bottle of hairspray on the left to add it to your tray. Once on the tray, click on the hairspray bottle icon to remove it. Remove 6 bottles total from your tray today to complete the bonus challenge.
Tip! You will need to restock the hairspray to complete today’s challenge. The restock tray is in the upper right corner, underneath the counter.
Level 9 – The Roots Darken
What on earth happened to the salon? Clean up on aisle Sally!
Find and clean up the broken bottles! There are 11 broken bottles scattered throughout the shop. Find and click on all 11 bottles before the end of the day to complete today’s challenge. Their locations are shown below:

Level 10 – My Big Flattop Greek Shedding
Go for the golden combo! Check out as many golden customers as you can at once, as many times as you can!
Get a checkout combo with 3 golden-heart customers today! Like Level 7, wait until 3 golden-heart customers arrive at the checkout counter, then click on the monitor to check them all out together. Check out 3 groups of 3 golden-heart customers to complete today’s challenge.
Tip! Serve customers quickly to improve their mood and earn that golden heart!
Chapter 2 – Only Skin Deep
Level 11 – Skin Deep
Welcome to beauty! Now you’re in charge, try on all the shinies!
Make all the different bracelet combinations! There are 4 total combinations, which are as follows:
- 3 Pink Heart Beads
- 3 Gray Dice Beads
- 2 Pink Heart Beads, 1 Gray Dice Bead
- 1 Pink Heart Bead, 2 Gray Dice Beads
Tip! You can make these bracelet combinations at the very start of the day and complete the challenge before serving any customers. Once you make the bracelets, click on the completed bracelet on your tray to remove it, making space for customers’ orders.
Level 12 – Mirage a Trois
Mirage is coming! Install posters, and make the salon look more… miragey!
Prepare for the mirage star! Click on the banners marked with “!” bubbles at the start of the day to set them up. A meter will appear displaying your progress. Complete setup of both banners before the end of your shift to complete today’s challenge.

Helen has a clipboard, and she’s going to use it! Avoid her for as long as you can!
Hide from Helen! Click on the area marked by a “!” bubble to help Sally hide when Helen appears. Avoid Helen 3 times during your shift to complete today’s challenge.

Look for Britney’s ring. It has to be here somewhere!
Search for the ring! Bubbles with “!” symbols will appear in 3 locations at the start of the day. Check each of these locations thoroughly before the end of your shift. Once the meter that appears is filled, the location will be thoroughly checked. Where could that ring be…?

The massage parlor is inexplicably closed! Lost customers are arriving every minute!
Help the lost customers! During your shift, customers who look like they don’t quite belong will wander into your shop. A “!” bubble will appear over their head indicating they need a little help finding their way. Click on the customer to help steer them in the right direction. Do this a total of 3 times today to complete today’s challenge.

Britney is distraught. Talk to her and see if you can help out!
Keep Britney’s spirits up! Britney will stand in the middle of your shop today. A meter will appear over her head. Click on Britney to cheer her up before the bar empties completely. Repeat this throughout the day. If you can keep her spirits up, you’ll earn a reward for completing today’s challenge.

Don’t remove items from your tray! Balance with the best of them!
Don’t remove any items from your tray! Be extra careful to only pick up items as customers ask for them. If you can make it through the day without removing any items from your tray, you’ll win today’s challenge.

Tilly is sick! Try to get through to Dr. Cares!
Call the vet! Sally’s phone is sitting on the edge of the counter at the top center portion of the screen, next to the coffee machine. Every time a “!” appears over the phone, click on it to try and call the vet. Repeat this a total of 3 times today to complete today’s challenge.

Extra energy day! Show you can move it with the best of them by running that extra mile!
Move 450 steps or more today. A meter in the upper right corner of the screen will help you keep track of Sally’s progress.

Find clues to the theft! A total of 10 clues are hidden throughout the shop. Find and click on all the clues before the end of your shift to complete today’s challenge. The clue locations are pictured below:

Still exhausted from the heat. Take a breather!
Stand still for 25 seconds! The best time to do this is at the very start or the very end of your shift. You can still assign customers to stations without moving Sally. Keep her still for 25 seconds to complete today’s challenge.

Britney is upset. Talk to her, and see what’s up!
Talk to Britney whenever the “!” bubble appears over her head. Talk with her a total of 3 times today to complete today’s challenge.

Do 25 quick actions! Quick actions can be completed by doing the following:
- Treat a customer within a few seconds of them requesting treatment.

- Assign a customer to the correct station within a few seconds of them asking.
By completing actions before the color drains from a customer’s order bubble, you’ll earn a quick action bonus. You can also earn these bonuses by checking out customers quickly, through it’s recommended you try to check out customers in larger groups for greater bonuses.

Polish the floors! There are 4 water spills on the floor at the start of the day, each marked with a “!” bubble. Click on the spill to clean it up. A meter will appear displaying your progress. Clean up all 4 areas before the end of your shift to complete today’s challenge.

In a ‘cost & efficiency’ initiative, we’ve been told we can’t waste hot water!
Don’t let the bucket cool down! Hot water is a hot commodity at the spa today. Located under the checkout counter, click on a spoon or brush, followed by the wooden bucket to prepare the hot water. Pick up the bucket as soon as the timer lands in the green zone, then bring it to the customer before it cools down.
Level 30 – True Friendship
Why did I ever doubt my best friend? Let him know you’re sorry.
Cheer up Francois with a text 5 times today! Sally’s phone is sitting next to the coffee machine at the bottom of the screen. Click on her phone every time a “!” appears to text Francois. Repeat this a total of 5 times today to complete today’s challenge.

Do 20 quick actions! Each time you serve a customer quickly, or within a few seconds of them ordering, you will earn a quick time bonus. You can also earn these bonuses by assigning customers to the correct station quickly or treating them before the color has drained from the bubbles over their heads. Complete 20 quick actions successfully before the end of your shift to complete today’s challenge.
Tip! You can also earn quick bonuses by checking customers out quickly at the register, though we recommend you try to check out customers in groups for the highest scores!

Call a dry cleaner. Sally’s phone is on a table to the left of the entrance doors. Each time a “!” appears over the phone, click on it to dial the cleaner’s. Complete this action 3 times before the end of the day to complete today’s challenge.

Don’t let the ice bucket melt! Sodas are a popular item today, but you’ll need to keep your cool to finish today’s challenge successfully. Each time you prepare an ice bucket full of sodas, be careful to pick it up as soon as the timer lands in the green area. If you forget, the ice will melt as soon as the needle’s out of the green, and you’ll need to replay today’s challenge.

Helen is all fired up to run the show. Time to use your speed! Perform as many quick actions as you can!
Do 25 quick actions! Serve customers quickly, assign them to stations quickly, treat them before the color drains from their bubble, and/or check them out quickly at the register to earn a quick bonus. How long do you have to earn a quick bonus? Oh, a few seconds…
Level 48 – Arresting Development

Remember the time before auto cleaning stations? Now you don’t have to! They broke!
Dirty stations are back! Just like old times, each station will have to be cleaned once a customer leaves before the next customer can use it. Click on a dirty station to clean it.

Elderly customers are gossiping at the waiting station!
Earn 1 star, despite the gossiping old ladies! There’s only 1 seat left at the wait station thanks to the women, meaning you’ll need to assign customers to stations ASAP today.
Challenge 10 – Missing You
Where did Francois go?
Francois has vanished! You’ll have to make it through the day without his assistance to complete this challenge.
Challenge 11 – Energy Overload
Someone switched the coffee for energy drinks! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Energy drink = double speed! Everyone’s hopped up on energy drinks today, meaning everyone will move twice as fast. Make it through the super-speed day to complete this challenge.
Challenge 12 – Flood is Thicker Than Water
The sauna is flooded! You can only move slowly… yet we’re still open! Go go aquapants!
There’s water everywhere, and Sally will need to move extra slowly to avoid disaster. Use the coffee machine to increase Sally’s speed and balance. Everything’s better with coffee!

Scarlett Stone is back and she wants the sauna to herself!
Attend to Scarlett Stone once again! The diva is back and demands your full attention. Make sure to serve her quickly, but don’t forget you have other customers, too!

The mysterious dark mist is back. Outdoor extractors to the rescue! Why do we even have these?!
There’s steam everywhere! Use the dehumidifier to remove the excess steam. Each time the screen fogs up completely, click on the dehumidifier and perform the touch gesture shown to remove the excess steam.

Challenge 19 – Wheatgrass Clog!
The addition of wheatgrass to all the smoothies is jamming the blender! It needs cleaning after every use!
Sally will need to clean the blender after every use today. Click on the blender to clean it. The best strategy to use is to simply clean it as soon as you’ve finished using it. It’s a lot like washing the dishes… just don’t forget about it!

It’s the Britney restock challenge! Britney will do anything to distract herself, including subconsciously taking items she shouldn’t. Keep a sharp eye on Britney and keep those items stocked by clicking the corresponding refill boxes next to the door and in the bottom right corner.

Must be a salt deficiency! Customers keep getting cramps!
Cramp invasion! These cramps are relentless, and everyone needs a little extra attention at the massage table today. Be prepared to stay on top of the queue and keep those tables free as much as possible.
