How to Play
Maggie’s Movies – Second Shot is a GameHouse Original Stories time management game. The goal of the game is to serve as many customers as possible within a set time limit.
Managing a movie set is all about efficiency. Crew members will ask you for items. Click or tap on the item they ask for to pick it up and add it to your tray. The tray is your inventory per level. Click or tap on the customer again once the item has been added to your tray to serve it and receive a score!
Scoring and Customer Happiness
The quicker and more accurate your service, the happier your film crew will be and the higher scores you’ll earn. Serve full orders as quickly as possible to make customers ecstatic. If you’re not careful and take too long, customers will start to become upset. If you ignore them, they’ll even storm off stage!
Leon the Chameleon Locations
Leon the chameleon is a master of disguise and has hidden himself in all 60 story level locations! Can you find him in every scene? Check out the Chameleon Locations section of our guide, or click “View Leon Location” under any level to reveal his location.
Leon also has his own home! Click the Diamond icon in the level select map to view it. Here, you can spend diamonds you’ve earned by completing challenges and side objectives to customize Leon’s terrarium!

Upgrades
Both your menu and film set can be upgraded! After selecting a level from the level select map, click either the Product or Cart icon. Select the product or set piece you’d like to upgrade! Set upgrades can be purchased using coins, which are earned while playing levels. Product upgrades are earned by completing objectives while playing the game.
Additional Tips and Tricks
- Go with the flow – The Flow meter is located in the upper left corner while you play. As you serve staff members and earn combos, this meter will increase! The bar below will decrease over time. You’ll need to complete additional services to refill it. If you hit the maximum level on the flow meter, you’ll earn a sizeable bonus!
- Today’s objective…– Each story level contains a unique Side Objective. If you can complete it before the end of your shift, you’ll earn a diamond!
- Karma chameleon – Leon the chameleon is hidden in each of the game’s main story levels. Keep an eye out for the shifty reptile!
- A clean set is a happy set – Dirty stations will be marked by a “!” bubble. Tap the station to clean it so the next crew member can get to work!
- Hollywood combo – Serve full orders, quick orders, and multiple orders back-to-back to earn score bonuses!

Don’t let the flow meter run down.
Challenge 18 has a special trick – you won’t be able to win if you serve all the orders. The goal is to have the flow meter completely empty by the time you finish the level. To do this, serve orders until you reach the star, completing a round of the flow-meter bar. Once you’ve reached the star, stop serving orders. You’ll need to stick with the empty bar until the level finishes. Leave the last 4 or so orders and wait for the customers to get angry and leave on their own.
Tip! Leave the final customers alone and let the flow meter run down on its own.
